The first sticker of Frank LAMPARD

After a loan to Swensea, Frank LAMPARD rised his carrer at home's father in The Boleyn Ground. The trus first season of Lampard at West-Ham was too shortly for him. Lampard suffered a broken leg during a match against Aston Villa, prematurely ending his participation and where he accumulated only 13 appearances. The following year was the season of his real start with the Hammers. Frank Lampard was an ever-present for West Ham in the 1997-98 season and he scored his first goal in Premier league the season kick-off day. An important goal at Oakwell against Barnsley who gave the hammers victory (2-1). Lamapard liked this team of Barsnley because for the return match, West Ham receive Barnsley at the Boleyn Ground and Frank LAMPARD scored once again after only five minutes. one-nil for the hammers and a large victory 6-0 at the end of the game. Here it comes in video of this goal of Frank LAMPARD (it's the first one) :

Do you see the first player to congratulate Lampard ? It was Samassi ABOU, Olympique Lyonnais former and who scored two goals during this match. A very disapointed player, he never confirmed all hopes on him. I remember the 1993-94 season in France with a new manager at Lyon : Jean TIGANA. Tigana trusted in Abou and was a starter in attack at the begining of the season. ABOU scored 3 goals during the first four games. He was the topleader scorer of French League but nobody know why after that he never scored again for Lyon and finished the season with 3 goals after 38 matchs ! Then he left to Cannes and after two seasons he arrived for the 1997-98 season at West-Ham but not for a great love-story with the hammers.
