As we saw in a previous topic, Javier ZANETTI is unfortunate with the Panini's stickers album. In this topic "Panini's failures : Javier ZANETTI" we saw that when Zanetti went to a world cup it missed his sticker ans when he had his sticker in the World Cup Album he wasn't picked by the national manager ! But Panini's publishing is not the aim guilty by this. And even in Argentina they made failures with his monument of argentinan football. The first sticker date from the 1993-94 season and our Javier ZANETTI called Sergio ! In fact there is a confusion between Javier ZANETTI from Banfield and Sergio ZANETTI from Deportivo Espanyol of Buenos Aires.
At this time Javier ZANETTI was a young player who becam an argentinian international and it was his first season in argentina's first division. For Sergio is the same case, even he's six years older it was his first season in argentina's first division too. THe fact that it was their first season could explain the confusion. But the better reason I think if Argentinan publishing made his failure is simply because the two players are brothers ! Sergio is the elder ans stoped his carrer many years ago while Javier continue to play each season at the international top-level
